Hi, my name is SiewYean. I am a mother of two kids. Here is a photo of our family – my 2 lovely kids and beloved husband.

Motherhood has brought tremendous changes to my life.

I used to be a professional woman holding a management position in a US Fortune 500 company with excellent career prospect. I was happily jetting around the globe and climbing the corporate ladder until my first child was born. I was still holding on to the challenges of balancing a high profile career and taking care of a child.

Then, one year later after my girl, my boy came along. Like all mothers, I began to feel the guilt of not spending enough quality time with the children and taking good care of them as I juggle family and job. It took me two years to come to the decision of finally giving up my high profile career and be fully committed to the family.

Being a full time mother and homemaker is not an easy role. I have learnt many new skills along the way and gained much knowledge in managing a family and teaching children life long skills. I strongly believe kids need to have fun when they learn and while they grow up. Parent is the best teacher and role model for their children in the world. Kids model themselves and learn from their parents. The time a parent spent in teaching the children is also a time for bonding. It is through this bond that children will find love in the family.

I decided to set up this website to share learning games and educational activities parents can do with their children. It also serves as a motherhood journal for me when my kids are still at junior level. I also get my kids to contribute to this website with some of their drawings, crafts and toys. My daughter loves to draw and color.
