Make Natural Air Freshener

Commercial air fresheners may contain chemicals that may be inappropriate to children or cause allergic reaction. However, we can always make air freshener using natural ingredients. I like to share one of such craft that my kids learn to make recently.

Materials:
Orange, Ribbon, Cloves and Skewer

What to do:
1. Tie a ribbon across the orange
2. Make pattern on orange with markers
3. Use the skewer to make small holes on the pattern (be careful if it is a juicy orange as the juice may spray into your eyes)
4. Insert cloves into the small holes
5. Hang orange as natural air freshener in airy space.

You can substitute different fruits and spices for different fragrance.

This natural orange air freshener can last up to a few weeks when I put in my car.
